So, how does this 'online class' concept work anyway?
It's a 'work at your own speed' kind of thing - the project is broken down into a series of pdf documents that you will access from the online classroom to download into your own computer. Then you can print it out if you want, or whatever - it's yours to keep. Also, each class has a message board, classroom or chat room where all of us in the class can chat as we want - you can ask questions (and i'll answer!), or share pictures of how your project is progressing, or share useful info, or just loiter (or even ignore it altogether if you prefer!) I try to answer the posts just as fast as i can - i usually check in multiple times a day at the beginning of a class and and less often as the class winds down.
Obviously, since the projects consist of multiple parts to download, the speed of your computer will make a difference - a dialup connection may be difficult or annoying - if you have any problem downloading a pdf, you can always contact me and we can make arrangements for me to send you a cd version for a small fee to cover postage.
Some browsers have trouble with online chat group formats, but we can work that out through personal emails too, if needed.
Each class is intended for all skill levels, although if you are brand new to polymer clay, you may want to try one of my downloadable projects first - they're shorter and simplier - just to warm up! (see the 'downloadable projects' button over there in the line up? click on that and check 'em out! there's some freebies, too).
I look forward to seeing you online in class!!
