This smaller sculpture (6x4x5) contains a lot of detail - several lampwork beads and dichroic glass cabs adorn the bottom along with coral, pearl and lapis elsewhere in the piece. When people ask me where I get my creative ideas from, I often laugh and reply that this is what happens when you learn to read from Dr. Suess books - which I did! His wonderful, exhuberant creativity and unique cleverness have helped shaped my imagination from a young age - this is just a small homage to those wonderful books.
