Well, you know, once you start down that glitter road, you never come back... so of course once I used some glitters with my claywork and saw how much they could enhance a piece, what I really wanted were glitter mixes - assortments of color, shape and size. So of course that meant buying lots and lots of glitter and mixing like a Crafty Mad Scientist to get just the colors and mixes that amused me most. I hope you'll be amused by them too! (I also suggest using Sculpey Bake&Bond (a heat-activated glue made especially for use with polymer) to help attach the glitte permanently to the clay. Rub it onto the surface of either unbaked or baked clay like lotion, then press in the glitter. It bakes clear.) |
